Yellowfin Tuna
These beautiful fish are highly prized for their hard
fighting and excellent flavor. While tuna can be difficult
to identify, the Yellowfin is readily distinguished
by its elongated bright yellow fins. A mature female
can produce up to eight million eggs in a season.
The North Carolina record weighs in at 237 lbs. and
was caught in 1979 by James Mixon, Jr.
