Dolphin

Perhaps the most beautifully colored of all saltwater fishes, the Dolphin is eagerly sought by offshore anglers both for its fighting ability and fine eating. Often found near floating rafts of seaweed, these fish are fast growing and short lived (only five years.)

The waters off Cape Hatteras yielded the 79 lb. record caught in 1993 by Sean J. Yurkanin.
