You can still support Jennette’s Pier through our new Angler’s Club campaign! Congratulations and THANK YOU to the 2,115 Plank Owners at Jennette’s Pier! This unique fundraising campaign was among the most popular programs ever launched by the NC Aquarium Society, the non-profit group that supports Jennette’s Pier and the three NC Aquariums. Pier visitors tell us that reading plank inscriptions is a favorite pastime, and our Plank Owners continue to share how much they love the Pier and their plank. In fact, you can check out the story behind many of our plank inscriptions on the Pier’s Facebook page. Plank sponsorships at the Pier help support many educational exhibits and programs, including live aquatic exhibits, summer camps, alternative energy displays, fishing tournaments, and a host of other programs and events. Though Own-A-Plank sales have now ended, other sponsorship opportunities are still available at the Pier, including bronze sculptures, rocking chairs, telescopes, and other features.
